MEETH nurses officially represented by the New York Professional Nurses Union Nurses at Lenox Hill Hospital and Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital are now represented by NYPNU and are covered by the same contract. The National Labor Relations Board ruling unequivocally grants MEETH nurses protection under our contract. We are looking forward to branching out and extending the benefits of unionism and NYPNU to our fellow nurses. NYPNU fought hard to win representation for this group of RNs and earned close to unanimous support from their ranks. MEETH nurses waged a long and difficult struggle over many years to finally win their right to union representation.
